1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Metric ID (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of service
Metric ID provides privacy-conscious location and address verification infrastructure. The Service may include:
- Consent-driven, time-bound location verification.
- Organization portal access and administrative tools.
- Versioned API access for approved integrations.
- Verification event histories and summary reports.
3. User responsibilities
Users are responsible for protecting account credentials and reviewing each request before consenting. Consent must be informed and specific to the verification presented.
Credential security
Do not share bearer tokens, tracking tokens, passwords, or sign-in links. Metric ID will not ask for raw access credentials through unsolicited messages.
4. Organization responsibilities
Organizations must use verification data only for the disclosed purpose, select a reasonable tracking duration, protect organization API keys, and limit access to authorized personnel.
Organizations must not attempt to extend a user’s consent, correlate unrelated verification activity, resell verification data, or use the Service for covert surveillance.
Accountability is the foundation of consent-first verification. Every request should be necessary, understandable, and proportionate.
5. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by applicable law. The final agreement should define warranties, service levels, indemnities, liability caps, dispute resolution, governing law, and jurisdiction after legal review.
